Ex-Twitter product chief Kevin Weil, who was among the many senior executives that recently left the company, is headed to run product at Facebook-owned Instagram. Twitter is still filling out senior positions amidst the tumult; Jack Dorsey hired a new CMO away from American Express, and the company is eyeing an Apple exec for the top PR job.

A common theme among this week's earnings reports -- from Apple to 3M -- is that the expensive dollar makes it harder for firms to generate profits abroad. This also poses a challenge for the Federal Reserve, which wants to continue incrementally raising interest rates without futzing with currency markets.
