Yesterday, Uber announced
a round of financing
that valued its China division, Uber China, at $7 billion. The Information reports that while Uber's global business is healthy, it
struggled mightily to raise the money
for its China operation because of product struggles, Didi Kuaidi's dominance, political problems and other major issues.

Grindr, the dating app for gay men, has sold a majority stake to the Chinese gaming company Beijing Kunlun in a deal that values Grindr at $155 million. Between 2013 and 2014, Grindr's revenue increased by 29 percent to $32 million.
