Everyone can agree that Uber needs an image turnaround, but can its new Chief Brand Officer Bozoma "Boz" Saint John give it the brand revamp it needs? If there's one thing Saint John knows, it's how to make something cool.
That's what she did as head of global consumer marketing at Apple Music, where she was the breakout star of the 2016 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference. Prior to Apple, she worked at PepsiCo, where she was behind a deal that brought us Beyonce's 2013 Super Bowl halftime show.
Now, she's taking on her biggest challenge yet at Uber — a company with more than a few internal and image problems. Saint John is clear-eyed: "I know what I'm walking into," she told Recode. She'll be tasked with changing the perception of the beleaguered brand.
